Released in 1987 Punch Out was developed and publish by Nintendo for the NES originally Mike Tyson’s Punch before being renamed to just Punch Out. Punch out is a boxing game based on an old arcade game with the same name but vastly different.
Take up the gloves as Little Mac a rookie boxer aiming for the championship. Make your way thought three circuit against boxers from all across the world. Learn to dodge and counter your opponents moves and make it to the top.
Punch out was well received by critics and players and got quite a few sequels. As mentioned before the game was originally Mike Tyson’s punch player would go up against Mike as the final challenge unfortunately the license end up expiring and was not renewed so all copies after the expiration replaced Mike with Mr Dream.
